Data Engineer (Experienced)

As a Data Engineer you will work on complex projects, supporting the whole data lifecycle through integration, transformation, cleaning and data elaboration.

What you will do

  • Designing and developing both batch and real-time solutions to distribute and process data in different data platforms (e.g. Spark, Talend, Kafka)
  • Designing and developing data models on DWH and Data Lakes (es. Vertica, Snowflake, Redshift…)
  • Managing data governance
  • Developing both on-prem and Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) customer data platforms
  • Helping customers solving issues regarding data quality & data pipelines
  • Collaborating and sharing your knowledge with other team members, actively supporting the innovation and improvement process
  • Supporting and encouraging your colleagues and their growth: you will serve as a role model, sharing your competencies and giving your team members a sense of responsibility

Who you are

  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Positive attitude in teamwork
  • Knowledge and experience in Database use and design (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
  • Experience building ETL pipelines
  • Experience designing, creating and maintaining both relational and non-relational data architectures and infrastructures
  • Experience in Data Warehouses use and design
  • Experience with container tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with coding and knowledge of one of these programming languages: Java, Javascript, Python, Scala
  • Curiosity, proactivity and desire to grow!

Any experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Stream Processing Platforms (such as Kafka) 
  • Big Data
  • Architecture and Cloud tools

Will be considered as a plus.
